About Me

I am a Supply Chain & Logistics professional and have been in this field for the past 10 years. I am an Engineer by background and have a Master's in Business Administration from the chicago">University of Chicago (Chicago Booth).

Experience

I have taught my daughter all through middle and high school in various subjects. My daughter is a senior at Reedy High School now, and in each class that I have taught, she has scored an “A”. In addition, my daughter’s friends have from time to time taken tutoring help from me in various subjects. Whenever appropriate, I have volunteered at her school and acted as a mentor for students. An example is the “Future City” project for Middle Schoolers.

Approach

I believe in the "back to basics" model. Students who have strong fundamentals in any subject are able to grasp mode advanced topics much more easily as compared to students who strive to get into advanced topics from a "resume builder" perspective. I always focus on making sure the basic fundamentals are clear and encourage students to solve each problem with as much independence as possible. And I stay with the student until he/she has solved the problem. That confidence is much beneficial.
