I grew up in Africa as the firstborn of my family. I love watching soccer. I am a Manchester United fan. I have not played soccer since high school, so please don't tell me to play soccer anytime soon! In addition, I am a life coach and a podcaster. My podcast is on 8 major platforms including Spotify and Youtube.

About Me

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Masters and also a PhD in Biomedical engineering. I did my research in neuroimaging. I checked people's brains with EEG and near-infrared spectroscopy while they were asleep and performed data analysis. one of my major goals is to build a world-class hospital in 7 different African countries. i have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

After getting my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, I taught SAT prep math and GRE prep math for about 2 years. During my PhD studies, I was a teaching assistant for both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, I have been a children's church teacher for 5 years. I am also the Principal of the Foundation/New Membership class in my church, Christ Embassy.

Approach

My teaching philosophy is best encapsulated in this saying: “If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself.” - Albert einstein.

I approach teaching a student from first, basic principles. I make sure the student understands the basic principles of whatever I am teaching. In addition, I distil the topic into bite-sized points that the student can easily grasp and remember. I am very invested in my student's success. i
