One thing about me is that I am a big sports guy and love to talk sports. Basketball is my number 1 sport, which I play and have played for over 10 years.

About Me

I am a senior at San Jose State University, I was a Civil Engineering student for 2 years and now I am currently switching to Business analytics. I have had a 3.4 GPA and up for the past 2 years and strive to learn and grasp real world knowledge at every chance I get.

Experience

I have tutored a large variety of people from children in elementary school through college students through the years. My most recent tutor project was bringing someone from basic addition and subtraction to the level of being ready for the SAT within 6 months. I have only tutored in the various subject of math, but feel comfortable tutoring in any subject from basic math through calculus.

Approach

Through my experience with tutoring and being a student I always like to first get an understanding of where the student is at the beginning. I like to make sure they have a good foundation to build from. I also like to set small goals to keep students chasing to reach that next level of understanding because I always that the accomplishment that I felt when grasping a new concept was very encouraging. I believe that peaking the students interest is important, make them want to learn and push.
