Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that everyone tells me I should be a Spanish teacher. Before I graduated high school I always went to all the Spanish classrooms and helped the teachers with the students. Also one of the teachers was my aunt and when she was absent there was always a substitute that didn't know any Spanish so I always helped the students that ask questions to someone like me that knows Spanish perfectly.

About Me

I was born in Lima, Peru. Raised by my grandparents because my parents were divorced 4 years after I was born. Went to a german private school were they taught everything in Spanish but there were some classes in German. When I turned 14 as a freshman I came to the united states to live with my mother and my step father. I went to Agoura High School, graduated there and now I'm going to Moorpark college.

Experience

I babysit 2 kids who I'm also teaching them Spanish when they need me to teach them. Also I'm teaching English to my god daughters who are sisters in Peru and I try to make as much fun as it could be so they can learn and enjoy the class I'm teaching them. I can teach any person of any age but the thing is that people that I get more along with are kids.

Approach

When I started school, it really was difficult for me because I struggled focusing because of my parents divorced and all the conflicts they had and they involved me in. I had to take Ritalin that is a pill that makes you focus but it actually doesn't work. I took it for 5 or 6 years. And to be honest that only made it worse. Once I stopped taking those medicines that's when I became more focus on school and I stopped going to a psychologist when I turned 11. Now I'm successful in everything.
