Fun Facts
I am an experienced double bass player and have spent a lot of time in orchestras, symphonies, and jazz ensembles. I'm also an avid video game enthusiast.
About Me
I am a sophomore studying science/california/san-diego">computer science/computational biology at Brown University. I graduated from Pacific Ridge Highschool with a 4.45 GPA, an AP scholar with honor award, as well as the Harkness award.
Experience
I have a lot of informal/unpaid experience with tutoring and teaching others. I was a peer mentor at my high school specializing in math and was often sought after to explain various mathematical concepts. My curriculum involved daily presentations of homework sets, so I have plenty of experience with explaining problems cleanly.
Approach
High school was a difficult and stressful time for me. My course load and extracurriculars sometimes felt overbearing at times. As a result, I've learned how to study effectively and efficiently, oftentimes teaching content to myself. These skills have carried over and helped me in my first year of university. I hope to teach the same skills to my students.
