Fun Facts

I am a huge reading nerd, I love books particularly fantasy because I grew up on Harry Potter. I also love food and discovering new restaurants and I have been experimenting with cooking as I just moved into my first apartment! I grew up dancing and could watch performances all day.

About Me

I am a junior English and Communications major at maryland">Loyola University Maryland. I have been on the Dean's List every semester of college so far and have interned with our Center for Community Service and Justice for most of my time at Loyola. When I graduate I hope to do a year of service before graduate school.

Experience

I have tutored classmates on and off through middle and high school as well as participating in tutoring programs between my high school and the local elementary school/middle school. During my first year at Loyola Maryland, I tutored high school students in English and math. I look forward to connecting with students and help them in the ways that I looked for help in high school.

Approach

All throughout my education, I have always learnt best by talking my struggles out and thinking through them with someone else. My friends, family and teachers have given me that space to be able to grow and understand the assignments that I was given. As a tutor, I would act as a guiding soundboard to students so that they are able to work through problems on their own and use my expertise to guide them to understanding the material.
