Fun Facts

In my free time I enjoy reading, doing yoga, playing card games (I even learned some new magic tricks this summer!) and taking photographs. This year I am president of the Photography Adventure Club at Loyola University!

About Me

I am a senior at maryland">Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD majoring in psychology and minoring in English. In the fall of 2019 I studied abroad in Bangkok, Thailand. My plan after graduation is to attend a master's program in clinical counseling with the hope of working as a counselor at a private practice or in a school setting.

Experience

Earlier this year I nannied for a six-year-old who was taking online classes and was assigned work for home. I helped him with technology, homework and learning basic math and comprehension skills. I also have experience working at a summer camp for five consecutive years. Some of these camps were academic based in the subjects of biology and writing. Lastly, I meet with a college student informally around once a week to help with psychology and writing assignments via Zoom.

Approach

I believe that work ethic, organization and a sense of curiosity is the best way to succeed in the classroom. Learning is about more than memorization and good grades. Once a student learns how to utilize all of their resources they can truly reach their full potential. It is my goal to aid in this process and even have some fun while doing it!
