I enjoy watching The Food Network and HGTV this is relaxing for me. I also enjoy cooking, reading, football and basketball. I am a life long learner. At this stage in my life I enjoy trying new things. I have a bucket-list that includes: indoor sky diving, skiing and more international travel.

About Me

I am an educator with over 15 years in the field. I have taught elementary, middle and high school. I hold endorsements in Business and Information Technology, Exceptional Education and Administration & Supervision. Most recently I worked as a part-time Adult Education instructor.

Experience

I have always been dedicated to ensuring that all students receive a fair and equal chance to being successful in their academics. I have provided private tutoring for the last six years. I am constantly developing my professional knowledge by attending classes, workshops and serving on educational committees to help develop and improve curriculum.

Approach

In the current environment of virtual instruction I believe it so important to meet the student at their level while ensuring the whole child's needs are meet (social and emotional). As a product of an urban school district I think it is important to understand what the student brings to the table and what they want to leave with. I believe students should also be taught life skills that will allow them to strive and be product citizens in our society.
