Fun Facts
I'm a painter in my free time! I love to draw, paint, and hopefully one day I'd like to work in an animation studio.
I'm also a dog lover. My dog is a 4-year-old labradoodle named Poe and he is the light of my life!
About Me
I'm a Master's candidate in Earth Systems (Sustainable Agriculture) at Stanford University. My Bachelor's was in Symbolic Systems (Natural Language) at Stanford University. Before that, I attended Palo Alto High School and made the Honor Roll every year.
Experience
I have experience tailoring lesson plans to any age from 6 to 22. I have experience tutoring middle- and high- school students in SAT, Spanish, Math, and English. I love to make learning a fun experience and try to incorporate experiential learning where possible.
I've also been a camp counselor/garden educator, where I developed lesson plans related to STEM that also incorporated social emotional learning.
Approach
I grew up with a brother 4 years younger than me, so I started tutoring him school subjects since high school. I gained experience in patience, compassion, and creativity in the constant challenges I faced when tutoring him. As a tutor, I strive to make learning a mutual effort between students and teachers, and to meet students where they are.
