Fun Facts

Sports are a great hobby of mine and I especially love to play basketball and golf. Also, I am a member of the Triathlon Club at Santa Clara University. When I am home in Southern California, I enjoy going to the beach and hiking in the mountains. Lastly, cooking is a great passion of mine and I hope to open my own restaurant some day.

About Me

I am a sophomore Business Finance and Political Science major at Santa Clara University. I look to attend law school in Southern California upon graduation. My ultimate goal is to practice law in Los Angeles.

While I attended high school at Loyola Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to tutor elementary students on a regular basis. Moreover, during January of my senior year, I worked full-time as a tutor and teacher's aid at an elementary school. I have also received a great tutoring experience during my SAT prep and am excited to impart these tools and methods on the students I tutor. I am excited to work for Frog Tutoring and can't wait meet and tutor new students.

I have been fortunate to experience many different classes with teachers who have utilized many different styles. In saying that, I have also noticed which styles have been most effective, while other styles have hindered students' success. Moreover, I am familiar with both difficulty and success in the classroom. Therefore, I understand the challenges that academics present to students. My approach to tutoring is working to a student's strengths in order to motivate a student with their potential. I look to do this through guiding and helping students find solutions on their own behalf instead of simply answering for them. With what I have learned and what every student is capable of, I am confident that any student can improve their grades and overall study habits.
