Fun Facts

I love to sing. No! I do not know how to sing, but I love to do it anyway. Sometimes I think my life is a musical, I will sing at anytime of the day, anywhere. I actually use a lot of songs in my teaching. It has helped my students a lot with remembering. I also collect owls. I tend to travel a lot, and every time I travel, I try to bring back an owl from the place which I have visit. L

About Me

I am a second year school psychology student at Florida International University. I am currently working on my specialist degree. I received my undergraduate degree in education/florida/miami">special education at miami-dade-college">Miami Dade College. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Unfortunately my current GPA is a little lower at 3.7, but I worked very hard for that GPA. Also, I am a second grade teacher looking to move with my students in the upcoming school year to be a third grade teacher. I love my job. Teaching is who I am. My students inspire me each day!

The only miami">tutoring experience I've had was working as an after school counselor for the YMCA. Other than that, I am a teacher who is well capable of miami">tutoring.

I plan to have a miami">tutoring approach similar to my teaching philosophy. I believe there are more than one way to learn, therefore i use more than one strategy to teach. The student will determine exactly my miami">tutoring approach. Yet, I do plan to give a diagnostic assessment prior to working with the students in order to find his strength and weaknesses. Based on the results, I will know what exactly to target with the student.
