When you first meet me, you will think I'm a nerd. One passion that I love to do in my free time is photography. If you don't see me studying then I'm on Pinterest looking at ideas to take pictures. I am the youngest of 4 kids: 2 brothers and one sister. I desire one day to be able to play the piano.

About Me

I am a freshman at Lonestar-Cyfair. I am going to major in nursing and become a registered nurse. Before that, I went to cypress falls high school and graduated in the top 18% of my class.

Experience

As a former member of The National Hispanic Institute, I had the opportunity to mentor young students about their community and ways they can get involved. During my high school years I often also tutored students in my classes. Now that I am in college, I am looking for a part-time job because I want to start saving up for my degree in nursing. This community would allow me to achieve my goal while still being able to achieve my dreams.

Approach

As a student that had trouble learning because of my habit of not being able to keep up with the speed of the class. Once I was able to grow my span of obtaining the information I never forgot how I used to be. This taught me that I should help others to make them be able to shorten the time of stress and frustration. As a tutor, I take my time to explain problems and use real-world examples.
