Fun Facts
If you're around me for at least a few minutes, you'll know that I'm really passionate about sports. I've played baseball, basketball, football, golf, and I'm currently on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams at UCSD. A random fact about me is when I'm not in class or running, I'm usually playing my harmonica for my friends!
About Me
I am just finishing up my second year at the University of California - San Diego. I'm majoring in Structural Engineering with a major GPA of 3.7 and I'm also minoring in Business with a focus in Organizational Leadership. After graduate school I hope to stay in San Diego and work for an Engineering firm and hopefully coach and train for the Olympic Trials in the marathon. In 2012 I was also honored with the U.S. Army Reserves National Scholar-Athlete Award and now I'm serving on the UCSD Triton Athlete Council.
I haven't officially been hired as a tutor, but I've had tutoring experience in the past. I've helped my friends and teammates with a few different subjects, mainly math and physics up to calculus and advanced physics. I never accepted any payment of any kind for helping, but I've gained some valuable experience tutoring my peers as well as those younger than me.
When I tutor I focus on being patient and understanding. I will always take time to cover things your child directly need. My goal is to help your child understand the material, not simply give answers. Some of the best advice I got was to "learn how you learn best," and that's what I want to help your child do. With anyone I tutor, my goal is to create a fun and productive environment.
