I am passionate about traveling and spent last semester studying abroad in Spain. I love experiencing different cultures first-hand and exploring new cities. In my free time, I love taking spin classes, doing yoga, and reading.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of Indiana University where I studied Marketing at the Kelley School of Business. I have minors in Spanish & Apparel Merchandising and in the Fall, I will be working for Kohl's on the Marketing Strategy team. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and come from a small family of 4.

Experience

I was a National Merit Finalist as a result of scoring in the top 0.5% percent of the state's senior students in the PSAT. I achieved Valedictorian status in high school by maintaining above a 4.1 GPA while being actively involved in Model UN, Mock Trial, Competitive Cheerleading, and volunteering with the American Cancer Society and Red Cross.

I have been working with a 5th and 6th grade student twice a week for 3 months consistently, and also have experience tutoring college level Spanish.

Approach

Growing up, I attended math and reading tutoring each week at Kumon, and strongly disliked the process. The lack of one-on-one focus was unmotivating and it wasn't until I started tutoring sessions with an SAT/college application tutor that I really valued the process. She was happy to provide guidance on any topic I needed, whether it was essay writing, PSAT prep, or college applications. I want to help students across all ages and give them a positive, personalized tutoring experience.
