About Me
I am a fun person who tries to be kind and humorous. I may seem a little strange at first but in a short time people get used to me and they get results. I get people to understand often when they are having trouble. I can discuss any number of things like bicycling (I do this a lot), any number of sports (I am fond of boxing and horse racing), or any area which people would like to use. I am willing to listen as I learn as much from the students as they learn from me.
I have taught at the High School and College level and have tutored at the college level many times, including during my undergraduate and graduate years. The number of years in which I have been teaching people is uncountable (at least 10). You will note the wide variety of areas that I am familiar with and this will benefit you.
.
During my graduate years teachers often sent students to me as I had good methods for understanding the metric system and understanding the mathematics behind many sciences, even areas in which I do not actively practice. I even teach things to people I work with and am often requested to work with interns as I do well at it.Any number of issues like cell biology and evolution, atomic theory, dimensional analysis, etc. come like second nature for me. I often have many fun and interesting analogies at my disposal that help others understand.
I have been a member of many Scientific Honor Societies and have assisted people in a wide range of subjects. I often find that being patient, drawing from all areas of my experience, and willing to approach a situation from many different angles is the key to success. I use many easy to understand analogies to break tougher material down into smaller, more reasonable size portions of knowledge to help students digest material better.
