I taught English in Madrid for 2 years! I am the youngest in my family. I was a 3 season 4 year collegiate athlete, I hold multiple school records for my running!

About Me

I graduated Wheaton College (MA) with a dual degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. I was a 3 year, 3 season cross country/track athlete. Now I am an associate Second Grade teacher at a private NYC school. I have been here for one year and before my time there I was an associate teacher at an all boys school in Greenwich, CT. I taught grades Kindergarten and Second. I have a masters and certification in Special Education and I have my teaching license in Connecticut and Massachusett

Experience

I have experience tutoring students ages 5 to 8 years old. I have done in person tutoring but have experience teaching remotely as my school was hybrid for half of the year

Approach

I try and make my lessons as hands on and engaging as I can. My goal is for students to look forward to working with me each time we meet. I celebrate mistakes because we all make them! Doing this creates a less stressful environment.
