Fun Facts

One passion that people quickly learn about me is that I love life, to travel, explore different cultures and grow as a person. I enjoy many different things, belly dance, yoga, dance and active activities that makes my body moving/ in shape. Traveling, wise I have only been to the Caribbean, however after a few years I would love to backpack in Europe and travel to India after sometime. I enjoy spending time with my close friends and my cat Salem. There is more to me that meets the eye.

About Me

I am enrolling my self into school to become a writer at Art Institute of NYC. I have been in college previously, I was a English major/ Minor in Greek/ Byzantine studies at the CUNY Queens University of New York . Since the pandemic has impacted my life in such ways as for completing my degree, I have decided to take a different approach in my educational journey. My ultimate goal is to become a professional romance paranormal writer/ business owner.

Experience

In concerns to my experience in the work sector I have worked in the library for quite sometime. I worked while I was on campus for 4 years at Queen borough community college. Then I transferred over to Queens college I have getting a job with the New York Public library as a library Clerk/page for 3 years. During, that time I have joined varsity tutors for a year, help tutoring elementary school students in subjects of English, Reading comprehension,Creative writing and Mathematics .

Approach

As a child, I have struggled in school because of my impediment at that time. I found it challenging for myself to read because of the disadvantages that was against me. Despite, that I have taught my self to read, that is where I have overcame my impediment with the English language. In high school I was fortunate enough to get the help I needed to succeed. As a tutor my attempt to bring a sense of determination to all my sessions to help others succeed despite the disadvantages they face.
