Fun Facts

I am originally from Tobago, a sunny island in the tropical Caribbean; yet, I feel right at home during winter with lots of snow. Ask any student out of the dozens I have tutored over the last few years and he or she would tell you that I love to explore links between subjects and life. "It's all connected!

About Me

I am a rising junior at brooklyn-college">Brooklyn College where I major in Mathematics and Psychology. My GPA just dipped this past semester from 4.0 to 3.94, but I will be sure to make that rebound in the coming months. I am a member of the Honors Program and upon graduating in 2016, I plan to pursue a Graduate Degree in Math.

Since 1999, I have tutored over two hundred students from grades 3 to college in Math, English Language Arts (ELA), the Sciences including Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science.

I am a strong proponent of the adaptive approach to brooklyn">tutoring and learning. The practice of tailoring academic instruction to suit the student appeals greatly and is the inspriation behind the name of my brooklyn">tutoring enterprise, Aptemics (a blend of the words 'adapting academics').
