About Me

I hope to join the field as an elementary school teacher after my student teaching experience this coming fall! I'm from Chicago, IL, currently located in Denver, CO, and have a Bachelor's in Government and Education studies from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.

Experience

I have worked in education and tutoring at the preschool, elementary, middle school and junior high levels. I'm excited to become an elementary school teacher because I am passionate about the content building blocks of this stage of a student's life!

Approach

As a student of education I seek to utilize the science and psychology of learning, and be explicit with students about their role in their education. I coach students to be empowered to take control of their learning and school experiences.
