About Me
I am a second year Mental Health Counseling Student at the miami">University of Miami. I received my bachelor of science in Psychology from Howard University and a Masters of science from the central-florida">University of Central Florida. I plan to ultimately become a human performance coach, helping build scholar athletes.
During my matriculation at Howard University I was a Mentor and miami">Tutor with The Big Sisters Big Brother Association of DC. I was a big sister for three years helping my sister matriculate from 3rd grade through 5th. My little was intelligent but often became frustrated with assignments. I helped her learn to use her listening skills and how to apply what she leaned in class to homework to the best of her ability.
I believe in the initiative " No Child Left Behind"; in that all children deserve the same opportunities. As a miami">tutor I like to make sure a student understands their strengths and weakness and how that applies to them as a student. I want students to understand that miami">tutoring is not a disadvantage but an advantage.
