A passion of mine is music! I love to teach myself how to play different instruments and discover new artists to listen to. I have learned that music is a great way to both express emotion and destress.

About Me

I am a Senior General Biology major at New Jersey City University. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 as well as a member of the Deans list. I also have been admitted to Law School as an incoming first year for the fall of 2021.

Experience

As a member of the New Jersey City University's Honors Program, I have had the chance to tutor several NJCU students. I have also served as a private tutor for students in elementary, middle, and high school in the subjects of Spanish, math, reading, and science/STEM related subjects.

Approach

I believe that one if the best methods for tutoring is to help the child gain confidence in their ability through practice and encouragement. I believe that for a child to improve it is important to focus on the fundamentals of a subject first and then proceed to the deeper and more complicated topics. This way the child/young adult can visibly see their performance improve.
