About Me

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is SaBrina Williams and I've been an educator for the past 11 years. I currently teach 4th grade reading & writing in a city south of Atlanta. I have had the pleasure of teaching Pre-K, K, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade. I have also tutored in these grades as well! I have my Master's in School Leadership, a Reading Endorsement & a Coaching Certificate.

Experience

Plan and instruct each subject area using wide variety of teaching aids, motivational and implementation strategies to engage students in active learning.
Created and administered Illuminate Assessments for 3rd & 4th grade students.
Constructed Georgia Standard of Excellence lesson plans with measurable objectives to evaluate learning outcomes in all subject areas.
Administered a variety of differentiated instructional methods such as technology base learning, team teaching, whole group topics.

Approach

Being a child from a low income area, like many I struggled to read and comprehend. I was on Hooked on Phonics, went to summer school & received outside tutoring. Becoming an educator was my way to help children navigate the gift and beauty of education. I wanted to be a part of laying the foundation of developing competent readers, writers and most importantly life long learners.
