About Me

I'm a recent graduate from Liberty University with my MFA in Creative Writing. I also earned from the same institution a graduate in History. Currently, I am putting my writing skills to the test by writing a fantasy novel which I hope to get published within my lifetime.

Experience

I got to tutor many students at two different institutions in both one-on-one and small-group settings. While I mainly focused on college-age students, I have acted as a pseudo-mentor for High School students as well that struggled with keeping pace with their peers.

Approach

I never had an easy time in school. I never applied myself even after getting to college. I struggled and flunked out of school. I was fortunate enough to have a strong system in place to assist me and help me get back onto my feet and motivate me to succeed. And while my particular race is done with education, I still remember well the difficulty and feeling like I was not good enough to accomplish my goals. I believe there is a way to silence that voice inside of us and succeed.
