Fun Facts

Almost no one can guess that I'm fluent in Spanish. My favorite things in the world are: visual media, traveling, the periodic table (it's required!), and food. In whatever spare time I can squeeze in, I love playing the drums and jamming with some of my classmates.

About Me

Hi, I'm a senior at Arizona State University. I'm getting degrees in Biochemistry and Sociology. After graduating and taking a year off from school to volunteer in a Honduran orphanage, I'm really hoping to get a job in the medical field; not too sure where just yet, though.

I have never tutored officially before, but as the second oldest in a family with 5 younger siblings, I've had ample practice helping phoenix">tutor kids throughout all ages. A result of being a Biochem student, I've accumulated countless hours "phoenix">tutoring" and reviewing with my classmates. I am excited to start working with Frog phoenix">Tutoring and take phoenix">tutoring to the next level.


As a phoenix">tutor, I think that compartmentalizing concepts and reviewing are the best ways to learn and use the material usefully. Too much information at one time, regardless of the subject, can be overwhelming and unhelpful, so I like to work at a good pace that's comfortable for everyone. Lastly, it's important for me to frequently review and have questions that make the student think critically about the material we're covering.
