Fun Facts

I love spending time with children of all different ages. Growing up with two little sisters and my mother's pediatric practice, I always found myself able to connect with kids. I love working out, especially soul cycle. I also am always down for a relaxing night watching Netflix with my friends or family.

About Me

I am a sophomore at Santa Clara University majoring in Biology and double minoring in Public Health and Biotechnology. I hope to attend medical school one day and become a doctor. I am from Chicago, IL, and found myself at SCU because of the amazing learning environment and close community of people.

Experience

Throughout high school, I privately tutored various students in Biology. I found happiness in helping others learn material that didn't come naturally to them. I also tutored children with special needs in a "life skills" class. Some activities we did included properly counting money to pay groceries and how to prepare for a job interview.

Approach

I have been diagnosed with ADHD and, as a child, have always had to work harder in school in order to succeed. I have a first-hand experience of how hard it can be to feel like you are struggling. I believe every student has their own learning approach, and it is my job to figure it out so they can learn in a way that best suits their needs.
