Fun Facts

If I have a moment to myself, I am definitely playing video games. I still love the Pokemon games and can't wait for the next one! I love running obstacle courses and playing pick up games of just about anything with my friends. I also can play the saxophone and I have been in a number of musicals.

About Me

I graduated from the central-florida">University of Central Florida in 2012 with a GPA of 3.7. I'm currently finishing my Master's Degree in Art History at the chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago and working on my thesis about portraits of Madame de Pompadour and Marie Antoinette. After I finish that, I plan to pursue a PhD in Art History and become a professor at a Big 10 School.

Growing up with two younger brothers, I often helped them out with their homework. That continued when I entered college and began working with members of the Art History Club in preparations for their exams by hosting interactive study groups. I also helped lots of my residents review papers and develop study habits when I was a Resident Assistant for three years.

My education has always been focused on the question "Why?" I believe that a lot of educators forget that students want to know why Algebra is necessary to learn. My approach to chicago">tutoring puts emphasis on drawing connections to other concepts that build critical thinking skills. That foundation brings together the content with problem solving abilities that can be applied to any other subject, bringing home success in every field!
