Fun Facts

I love traveling and learning about new places. I recently spent five months studying abroad in London, and during my time there I traveled to six other countries, and 18 cities in those countries. Another passion of mine is running. Although I am not fast, I find value in enduring long distance. Lastly, I enjoy helping others in any way that I can.

About Me

I am preparing to start my senior year at Fordham University. On the Rose Hill campus, I study Interdisciplinary Math and Economics as well as Business Administration. I am still observing my options for my post graduation life, but I do hope to find a job in the finance industry, and pursue either a Master's degree in statistics or an MBA in a financial field. I am excited to spend time searching for my fit in the work force both before and after graduating from Fordham.

During my time in middle school and high school, I tutored a few friends in math from anywhere between homework help to studying for NYS Regent exams. Since my time at Fordham, I continued my passion to help students with math by volunteering at Fordham RETC, where I spent much of my freshman year tutoring local Bronx high school students in math and science. I also plan on tutoring in the math department at Fordham this coming academic year. Frog Tutoring would be an excellent opportunity for me to further pursue my passion and help students onto a path of success.

Throughout middle school and high school, I sometimes found myself "stuck" in math, and faced difficulty in understanding problems and why certain solutions were right. I have since learned that repeatedly trying many different means of understanding all aspects of the problem and creating a strategy to solve it, still allows me to enhance my math knowledge, and as a result I don't find myself "stuck" as nearly as often. I teach students that it is imperative to try again, no matter how many times it takes because through persistency and determination, they will get it, and grow to become much better at the problems they find hardest.
