I grew up in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Zimbabwe and Maryland so I've met people from many different cultures and know how to relate to many types of students. I'm the oldest of three. I love to go salsa dancing!

About Me

By day, I'm a Healthcare Manager and currently work with scientists and engineers at a major pharmaceutical company. On Saturday mornings I currently tutor my friend's daughter in 7th grade math

Experience

I've tutored Math subjects since 2010, with my first student being my own Mom. I tutored her in college math during her undergraduate studies as well as in Financial Accounting during her MBA studies, in which she excelled and graduated with honors. I've tutored students privately at home, virtually as well as Mathnasium. All of my students have raised their grades from an F or D average to at least an A- level by the time we were done.

Approach

Anyone can do well in Math, they just need to learn how to approach Math subject matter so that they can master the material. I actually struggled with Math throughout of middle and high school, until I had a great Math Professor in college who changed my life. As a result, I went from a struggling C student to an A student in Math. I ask students to: 1. Learn basic principles and Formula 2.Know that they can excel in Math 3. Continuously practice until they master the methods they need to use
