I love to make people laugh and enjoy themselves. My humor helps put others at ease and lets me connect to others. I also enjoy playing games and puzzles the more difficult the better, I carry a great amount of patience and persistence.
I am easily intrigued and willing to try almost anything at least once.

About Me

I graduated from maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University In Fall of 2013 with a Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Biochemistry degree. I have worked in several molecular research labs and I intend to attend Graduate school and earn my Ph.D in Cellular Biology. I have been awarded a grant from the fisher college of science and arts and I am on the verge of appearing in a published scientific paper from maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University.

While in Middle school and High school, I helped children at a local community learning center with their homework, English and Math in particular.
While in High School, I would stay after school on select days to classmates for Biology and Chemistry courses. In my final year of High school I added algebra 1 and 2 to courses I would maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor in.
In College I often hosted study sessions for various biology courses where I would maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor a group of students on a particular subject or topic of their preference.

I am passionate about science and learning and I like to make the subject as fun for others as it is for me. When it comes to scientific concepts I can associate them to real world applications or phenomena to make them easier to grasp. I understand that trying to grasp a subject that you're not comfortable with yet, while being bombarded with school work in that subject, can be demoralizing. I try to not only help students understand subjects, but also motivate them and let them know that these subjects aren't as tough as they seem. The first step to overcoming an obstacle is overcoming your own fears toward it.
