Fun Facts

I love cooking, swimming (lots of swimming!), exploring, classical music, poetry, and scientific research. I am teaching myself parkour and basic woodworking. An aspiring health-nut, I hope to one day do a triathlon. If there is something I don't know, I enjoy trying to learn it.

About Me

A student at the Macaulay Honors College of New York, I am awarded a presidential scholarship. My involvements had me working in an orphanage abroad, working on Alzheimer's research, Mycobacterium research, and Vitamin D deficiency research. I have been awarded the William R. Kenan Scholarship, the Lisa Goldberg/Revson Scholarship, the Kappa Sigma Student Leadership Award, Dean's Scholar, and the Brooklyn Technical High School Student Cooperation Award (1 student per graduating class). I aspire to become a doctor.

Though not professional, I have tutored many kids in my high school, Brooklyn Technical High School. I have also tutored many of my cousins and friends. While I do not have a car, I am fine with taking public transport.

I prefer the student to learn the subject rather than the exam. While I do direct the student towards particular tricks of an exam, I make sure the student understands the material before approaching the question. Science and math is based off of research, so the history and the thought behind a particular process is my focal point. My tutoring style relies on pneumonic devices and heavy analogical thinking.
