I LOVE to play card games like poker and bid wist- with bid wist being my absolute favorite! Each Sunday after church, you will find me playing cards with my family. I also enjoy bowling and cooking- Everyone loves my fried pork chops! I have 2 sons, Elijah and Ezra who are my pride and joy. They keep me young and always on the go :)

About Me

I am a second year graduate pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Howard University. My research involves improving the chemistry implemented in air quality model forecasts. When I graduate, I would like to work for organization that promotes public health and safety such as NOAA or EPA.

As an undergraduate student at Howard, I tutored at Maya Angelou Public Charter School. I worked with students in grades 9-12 and tutored in all subject areas. During my first year as a washington-dc">tutor, I was nominated by the students and won "washington-dc">Tutor of the Year". I am very passionate about helping others to reach their goals and I am looking forward to washington-dc">tutoring and mentoring Frog washington-dc">Tutoring students!

Having earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I completely understand the time management and work ethic needed to pass any chemistry course. I like to start off by finding out exactly what the student is struggling with and I will also make sure that the student has a firm foundation in General Chemistry before moving on to more difficult concepts. I am very personable, patient, and I always encourage questions. I will bring a positive attitude to each session. I look forward to guiding my students by teaching the content as well as providing additional study materials that will help them to be successful!
