Fun Facts

One passion people learn quickly about me is that I love to travel-I have traveled with my family to Europe five times, I love to see new places, and just this year I was able to become a duel citizen. I am a citizen in Italy and America! I also love to play golf with my sister and my father, and have been playing for 7 years competitively in high school and now I play for fun!

About Me

I am a sophomore Humanities for Teaching major at washington/seattle">seattle-university">washington/seattle">Seattle University. I have been on the Dean's List for one year now, and when i graduate I hope to go to Graduate school either in Washington or in my home state of California for a Masters in Teaching in Elementary Education. After school, I hope to become either a kindergarten or first grade teacher!

As a student in the Matteo Ricci College, I was fortunate enough to washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor in a 4th/5th grade classroom in the washington/seattle">Seattle Public School District, at Leschi Elementary for the entire 2013-2014 school year. I was able to have a small group of students for the majority of the year, but was also able to work one on one with the students. Working for Frog washington/washington/seattle">seattle">Tutoring will allow me to continue to help students in the area surrounding washington/seattle">seattle-university">washington/seattle">Seattle University.

As a washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor, I believe approaching each student differently is key, each student has a different learning capability and each student will not understand the material like another. As a washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor, my job is to help the students in whatever way works best for them helping them lead to the answer, yet not telling or showing them the answer. I ask many questions to them, teach them not only the content but also the skills that will help them thrive as they are doing their work in the classroom as well as outside the classroom.
