Fun Facts
Like a lot of people my age, I enjoy playing games online, but I always make sure to not let it interfere with my studies. I also play ultimate frisbee, casually, and sometimes attend pickup games. As the middle child of three with two sisters, I simultaneously suffer from younger and older brother syndrome, and dance for fun.
About Me
I am a sophomore Biology major at chicago">Loyola University Chicago, and was on the Dean's list in my freshman year. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and work in the healthcare industry.
Experience
In high school I was a trigonometry teaching assistant for Saturday school and was also recommended as a physics tutor in college. I am eager to work with students who need assistance given that I used to be somebody who would utilize tutoring services when they were available.
Approach
Telling somebody how to do something tends to be ineffective. The value that I learned from school is how to think, and was lucky enough to have people around me that promoted that. As a tutor, I find effectiveness in guiding a student to the answer through hints, to put them on the right path of solving a problem. I aim to try to help a student with perspective and finding different angles to look at a problem, and hope to help students apply these strategies to all aspects of classes.
