Some interesting things about me: I love playing video games, reading a book, or just relaxing while listening to music. I listen to all types of music, and am always open to expand my horizons. I love travelling, experiencing different cultures, and learning new languages as well.

About Me

I am a sophomore Mechatronics Engineering major at Texas A&M university. I am apart of the Engineering Honors program as well. After graduating, I hope to move on to law school and get into either corporate or criminal law.

Experience

I have experience tutoring students of all ages, ranging from Pre-K to High School. I worked as a tutor for Kumon for over two years, and I taught students math and reading, ranging from alphabet to reading analysis as well as numbers all the way up to calculus. I also tutored for other high schoolers as a part of the National Honors society primarily in calculus and AP Physics.

Approach

I think that tutoring is finding the correct balance between giving the child the answer and letting them find it themselves. Each child is different, so the approach needs to be reassessed based on their individual needs. I believe students need to be able to learn and understand by themselves, but proper guidance needs to be provided when students are attempting to learn fundamental concepts.
