About Me

I just graduated with my master's degree in biological sciences. I have spent most of my time in biomedical research labs doing a lot of cool stuffs that should be published soon. I love to teach and I am so much interested in student success.

Experience

I was a teaching assistant as Southern Illinois University where I tutored MCAT physics. I have also been a tutor at Chicago State University where I tutored college algebra, and human physiology. I was also a tutor for varsity tutors where I tutored a lot of high school students in math and science.

Approach

When I was in elementary school I struggled a lot to understand basic concepts in mathematics, chemistry, and physics. I had to device my own means of understanding and recalling information. With that in mind, my approach for tutoring students involve three simple steps, identifying what type of learner my students are (visual, auditory, or tactile), designing a strategy that fits such a learner, and reinforcing the students learning and understanding ability by giving more practice problems.
