I grew up in Michigan. I love camping, boating, and traveling. I have also played sports for my entire life. I love to be active and outside.

About Me

Both of my parents are teachers. Growing up in my household, school and learning were our first priority. I feel that anybody can learn, once their learning style has been discovered.

I love teaching. I also love working with kids. I have been very involved with education for my entire life. I received both my graduate and undergraduate degrees at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. I earned a 4.0 GPA when working towards my Master's Degree. I have been working with many different levels of students over the past 11 years of teaching. I have also taught various subjects ranging from:
English (high school and middle school), Algebra 2, Geometry, 6th grade science, Chemistry, Social Studies as well as various tutorial and study skills classes.

I believe it is the most important thing to be patient and flexible when it comes to tutoring students. I think increasing their self confidence is a major foundation to creating success for them. I think encouragement is essential to working with young people. I have been working with many different levels of students over the past 11 years of teaching.
