In the past, I've had four hamsters, one cat, two dogs, seven puppies and a rooster as pets. My main hobby is cooking. I love experimenting in the kitchen and trying new recipes! I also enjoy drawing, hiking, reading, and baking. One day, I hope to travel the world to experience new cuisines.

About Me

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from CSULA in 2019 with a B.S. in Natural Science. I am currently attending graduate school in Healthcare Administration at Mount Saint Mary’s University. I plan to find a career in the healthcare policy sector.

Experience

I demonstrated leadership when I took Microbiology. I guided my team by explaining the steps, the overall concept, and what the results should look like. When an experiment required multiple results, I assigned each member of my team one task to focus on and I would answer any questions they had so they could start with a clear understanding of how to proceed. I also helped tutor them and the rest of the class before exams. I empower others to succeed!

Approach

I struggled in school for many years because I did not understand how to study. I discovered tutoring in college and my only regret is not utilizing tutoring services sooner. I am grateful to all the wonderful tutors who taught me study skills and helped me pass my classes. I hope I can pay it forward and help others learn how to pass their classes.
