Fun Facts
I love all things gaming, including playing them and even designing, modding, and programming them in my free time. I also like watching movies and hanging out with friends. I am the youngest of 4 and have lived in 6 different states!
About Me
I am a software engineer from Texas, though I hope to one day go back to graduate school for a PhD in science/texas/fort-worth">Computer Science/Math with some emphasis on theory as that is more my passion than the actual process of software engineering. I have a bachelor's degree in Math where my minor was science/texas/fort-worth">computer science, a compromise I made at the start of COVID-19 as I had the credits to graduate but ultimately would have needed another semester for a double major. Ultimately, I see myself as more of a professor.
Experience
In high school, every week from the summer of 9th grade to the fall of 12th grade I tutored the elderly (and some kids!) on technology related tasks and issues with their devices, most commonly email and general Windows related tasks. From there, I went on to volunteer at the Suncoast Science Center as a lab assistant where I helped with children learning basic electronics, such as circuits and Arduinos.
Approach
As a tutor, I bring my hands on experience as a software engineer and mathematics expert to the table as I attempt to bring an attitude of understanding to each session. Instead of giving students answers to problems, I feel it is my responsibility to guide students through the problem solving process so that they can not only succeed with that one problem, but with future problems as well!
