Fun Facts
Spend any amount of time with me and you will soon discover, I LOVE coffee! Whether sipping a cappuccino with a friend or studying with a fresh cup of french press, I somehow manage to fit a coffee break into every day. It's really an art! Although I was born and raised in Texas, I love to travel! I've been to 16 countries, and I still feel like I have tons of ground to cover. I still have so much to see and learn!
About Me
I'm Sarah and I recently graduated from TCU! I received a double degree in Religion and Spanish with a minor in Sociology. Studying liberal arts means I write and read A LOT and have experience in a really broad range of subjects.
I've studied Spanish academically for about 7 years at both the High School and University level. Most importantly I studied abroad in Seville, Spain in 2011 for 5 months - it was such a great way to learn! Because I have so much experience learning Spanish, I feel very qualified to teach it. I've tutored Spanish on a number of occasions. I have additional experience in tutoring elementary students, SAT prep, and writing.
Every student is so different! I believe the most affective way to tutor is to cater to each student's individual needs and learning styles. Being able to change and adapt the way I teach is integral to ensuring the student's success. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to make sure I'm doing everything I can to encourage and equip a student to learn as much as possible!
