Fun Facts

One of my biggest passions is my love for film and the cinema. Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, bike riding, singing, acting and rock climbing. I hope to learn how to ballroom dance, maybe go back to learning ballet, and also learn to dance to Latin music.

About Me

I am a graduate student from Northeastern Illinois University with a B.A. in English. I plan on attending grad school this Fall to earn my Masters in Secondary Education- English Language Arts. One of my goals is to become a high school teacher and maybe down the road a college professor. I would also love to get more involved with film, theater, music and writing.

Experience

For a couple of months I've worked as an assistant teacher at an elementary school. Really love my students! During the spring I was chosen to present for the annual research symposium at my school in which I presented a video for my English professors and classmates. Tutoring students in need of assistance also helps me review what I've leaned as well as strengthen my skills for future career(s).

Approach

During my years as an undergrad I was in constant need of a tutor. It is thanks to them and of course my professors that I am where I currently stand. I hope to aid as well as inspire and motivate students in the same way which I was as well and help them realize their true potential.
