In my free time I am a competitive ballroom dancer! I started ballroom at the beginning of my freshman year of college, and since then it's become my passion. I recommend anyone that wants to have an active hobby with a great community to try it out! In high school, I played volleyball competitively, and played the flute in band. Additionally, I love photography, both film and digital.

In school, I find that the best teachers have two qualities in common. For one, they break concepts down into clear, simple ideas, and provide ample time for students to absorb and reinforce ideas before moving onto more complex skills. On top of that, they are patient, and have a positive attitude towards students, supporting students to progress at their own pace. I strive to use such an approach whenever I am teaching someone, and at the end of each session, I always make sure to review the material that was taught in the past and in the current session.
