Fun Facts

One thing that people will learn quickly about me is that I am a HUGE nerd. I spend a lot of my free time watching various documentary style videos about various subjects. I absolutely love learning and sharing random facts regarding a variety of subjects. I am an only child and have not yet left the United States. However, that may be changing soon!!

About Me

I am a Sophomore Accounting major who will be starting at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the fall! For my freshman year, I attended Kennesaw State University and made the President's List (even higher than the Dean's List) twice. I am set to graduate in the Spring of 2024 and my ultimate goal is to earn my CPA designation.

Experience

As an Instructor at Mathnasium, I had the opportunity to tutor students from K-10 in math. At Mathnasium, we did not just show the students what the answer is and how to get there, but also taught them various mathematical problem solving strategies. Many of our students greatly benefitted from this approach. I worked with over 50 different students during my time there and I hope to continue to work with even more through the Frog Tutoring platform!

Approach

Although the subjects I will be teaching have come naturally to me, I am sensitive that every student learns in different ways and at different paces. I primarily use socratic questioning in an effort to guide students towards the correct answer, while also allowing them to discover the answer for themselves.
