Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE to program! When I have a chance, you will find me at home coding or learning more about science/illinois/chicago">Computer Science. I am the older brother to a younger sister. I have a YouTube channel with over 100 videos of me completing coding practice problems, and I have a whiteboard. During my last two years in college, I was in the Student Government Association. I love to help people!

About Me

I am a recent science/illinois/chicago">computer science undergraduate from Northeastern Illinois University. I've was on the Dean's List for three years in a row! When I graduate, I hope to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology to earn my Master's in science/illinois/chicago">Computer Science. My ultimate goal is to be a leader in the community, and I hope to do that by being a great role model.

Experience

As a student of Northeastern Illinois University, I had the opportunity to tutor students in different subject areas during my last two years in college. Upon entering college, I was eager to develop my program skills, so I did an internship with the Student Center for Scientific Engagement. I worked with a team to create a recommender app. Outside of school, I participate in Hackathons, I train my coding skills on HackerRank, and I make YouTube tutorials for anyone who needs help.

Approach

If I come across a question I don't have the answer to, then I systemically break down the problem into pieces. All the while tackling each piece one at a time. I feel it is my responsibility to attempt to build up everyone's problem-solving skills, so in order to create an environment for academic success.
