Fun Facts
For the past twelve years, I have traveled the country competing with my dogs in American Kennel Club dog shows! Growing up showing dogs has taught me the responsibility required to train and care for animals, and it has given me experience working with people of all ages. Through dog shows I discovered my passion for traveling. I look forward to the opportunity to travel abroad someday.
About Me
I am a junior Finance major, accounting minor at Texas Christian University. I have been on the Dean's Honor List for the past 2 years, and last year I was accepted into the BNSF Next Generation Leadership Program. Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in equity research or investment banking in New York City.
Since coming to TCU, I have independently tutored six of my peers in algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, and Microsoft Excel. I enjoyed this experience and would appreciate the opportunity to continue tutoring students. In high school, I babysat kids in my neighborhood which also required helping them complete their homework and study for tests. I helped the students set up study routines and different study habits.
My high school pre-calculus and AP calculus teacher set a phenomenal example on how positive encouragement and "practice makes perfect" can be individualized to help each student succeed. While tutoring, it is my goal to help the students have a solid understanding of the foundation steps to problems. Using this and positive reinforcement with practice will help students be successful.
