About Me

I am a science/california/san-jose">Computer Science and Economics double major at University of California, Berkeley. I have completed multiple my coursework for functional programming, data structures, and attained mathematical proficiency up until Discrete Mathematics. After graduation I hope to further develop my CS career and pursue a Masters.

Experience

I currently work as an Academic Intern in the data structures course provided by UC Berkeley. I have also had volunteering experience within a Chinese teaching service in San Jose and other instances of private tutoring with high school and middle school students.

Approach

I realize that understanding the material thoroughly and formulating coherent communication methodologies doesn’t come naturally to anyone, including myself, which is why I would often come to my tutoring sessions with visuals, examples, and topic bullet points to guide my lessons in the most efficient and effective way possible. I like to do quick reviews beforehand on topics my students struggle in and go through problems they bring or I find myself from online resources and worksheets.
