Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I am half french! My mom moved to the States when she was 20 years old as a nanny. Growing up we only spoke french in the house so I am fluent, but my spelling and grammar is terrible! I also was a competitive gymnast for 6 years before switching to cheerleading in high school.

About Me

I just graduated this past May from maryland">Loyola University Maryland with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Math. I was president of our Engineering Club and was one of five in my major nominated for a prestigious award!

Experience

I have been tutoring students since middle school, and worked as an Academic Tutor at my university for two years. I have graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Math this past May. I have Studied abroad in Argentina and have been studying Spanish for over nine years! I love helping students understand hard concepts and providing an environment that let students have fun while learning.

Approach

I was able to fall in love with various subjects such as Math and Spanish due to amazing teachers making learning fun and inviting. I take the same approach when tutoring, by making a positive environment that encourages deeper learning and understanding, not just memorizing.
