About Me
I am a second-year science/california/san-jose">Computer Science and Engineering major at the University of California, Davis. I have been on the Dean's List every quarter I have studied at Davis, with a 3.9 average GPA. After graduating I plan on getting a job as a software developer.
Experience
During my senior year of high school, my calculus teacher often asked me to teach and explain concepts in front of my class. It was here that I realized I had the ability to help my peers with all of their math struggles. I would volunteer 1-2 days a week at the school library after school ended, to tutor all sorts of different students. I would even host study sessions for all of the big tests these students had coming up, where I taught in front 30-40 students.
Approach
Whenever I have struggled in any subject in my life, I have always gone out of my way to understand it to the best of my ability. I approach learning by providing a student with the knowledge to understand a certain problem and how to find the solution, and then have them continue practicing it until it becomes easy.
