The main thing that people come to realize when being around me is I love to have fun. Whether it is jokes, games, or just smiling and having a good time, I am all about it! I have lived in both NY and TX. I love traveling and am absolutely obsessed with trying new things! Singing, theatre, writing, and a lot of creative activities make me the happiest! One thing I really want to do in paint a mural!

About Me

I am a teaching assistant in a Kidnergarten thru 8th grade school. I specialize in education/new-york/new-york">special education and students with behaviors. This will be my 4th year doing this! I hope to get my masters degree in education/new-york/new-york">special education so I can have my own classroom. I am currently a junior at SUNY Empire State college and pride myself in my courage through school. I wish nothing more than to help others!

Experience

For the past 3 years I have been a certified tutor for students in kindergarten thru 8th grade. Throughout the day I am constantly around children with all different learning types and challenges. With my 4 years of being a teaching assistant and 3 years being a specialized tutor working for Frog Tutoring seems like an ample opportunity for me to spread my knowledge and teaching capabilities.

Approach

As a 22 year old with recently diagnosed ADHD my entire childhood was a struggle battling my own mind. I understand the idea of doubt and discouragement that often comes to students, especially with this past year of peculiar education. As a tutor I guide each student differently. No ones brains are the exact same, so why treat them as so? I strive to teach the curriculum as well as study skills and coping skills surrounding school and their education process as a whole!
