Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I absolutely love history! Personally, I like to read about the Gilded Age just because of the duplicity in the country at the time. I also play tennis, and am learning guitar, although I'm not great at it. Another fun fact is that I actually have the Seal of Biliteracy in French, however the most French place I've been so far is Quebec so fingers crossed I'll get to actually test out my French is France one day.
About Me
I'm a freshman at Rutgers University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a double major in Economics. Throughout high school I've take 6 AP and 8 honors courses. I've given the AP exams for US History, Biology, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics. I hope to be a biomedical engineer and economics major in the next four years and maybe pursue Med School after that.
Experience
Over the past four summers I spent my time volunteering at a school in India near my grandparents house where I taught kids in small groups from first grade to fifth grade. In high school as an upperclassman I started tutoring freshman and sophomores in the classes I had already taken and helped them better understand the subject. This year, I started tutoring kids from grade 7-10 in Math and English. I realized I love helping students, and Frog Tutoring allows me to help even more.
Approach
Growing I always hated math and thought I has horrible at it, that's what teachers told me and my grades spoke for themselves. Freshman year of high school, I was in a geometry class and I met a teacher that change the whole course of my life. He started explaining math as a concept to me instead of just giving equations to memorize. I learned that your whole outlook on a subject can change by having a teacher that works with your learning style and that's what I hope to do at Frog Tutoring.

I also have numerous writing prompts, essay writing structures, MCQ, and SAQ questions and responses.
AP Statistics Tutoring
I took AP Stats my senior year so it's very recent in my memory and also gave the AP exam for that as well. I have all the necessary notes, guides, content, and practice questions to prepare students for their class in the fall and for the AP exam. Stats was a subject that came easily to me so I'm well in my comfort zone to teach it.
Biology Tutoring
Since my major in college in BME, it's no surprise that one of my favorite subjects was biology. I took AP Biology my junior year and scored a 4 on that AP exam as well. I also have detailed notes, guides, and practice FRQs along with MCQ. I can help students understand the concepts deeply and prepare students for the upcoming school year so when the lessons are taught in class, it's easier to understand.

I scored a 750 on the SAT English section using specific reading and comprehension strategies, and reading maps that help answers the questions correctly. Also specific grammar rules and shortcuts that help students answer the verbal section to the best of their abilities.
