Fun Facts
When I was young we moved quite often, most notably we lived in Italy for 3 years; it is quite possible that this constant travel was what fed into my current love of aviation. I love to fly, and I am currently working towards my private pilot's license. One final fact about me that is quite important to know is that I LOVE cats, and every time I hop on a video call they rush to sit in front of the camera.
About Me
I am currently a high school student in Seattle. However, my love of math and physics has led me to also become enrolled at the washington">University of Washington where I am currently taking multivariable calculus, differential equations, and physics 2. When I graduate high school I intend to double major in math and aerospace engineering and eventually get a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering. My dream goal if all goes according to plan is to become an astronaut.
Experience
I have tutoring experience in both group and individual settings. I tutored a group of four students in algebra II and precalculus. We met 2-3 times per week and reviewed homework while working through it together. This included providing additional explanations of complex topics and helping unite ideas from different areas of math. I also privately tutored two students in geometry and calculus. Helping them raise their grades by multiple letters.
Approach
When I entered high school I was not the greatest at math, I always found that when new problems were given to me I either solved them with extreme ease or was completely stumped by them. That was until I met the greatest math teacher of my life, Alex Chen. His approach was to simply ask me questions and to help me find the right questions to ask. From then on I have loved math. That is what guides my approach. I believe that learning to ask the right questions is the most valuable skill there is
